The official hotel of the Connexions conference is Hotel ZaZa, just steps away from the campus of Rice University. Conference lodging rates for Hotel ZaZa are listed below. Be sure to request a Rice University rate and/or explain that you are with the Connexions Conference when you register.

Many hotels are within walking distance of campus, and a shuttle will run between Hotel ZaZa and campus in the mornings and evenings.

Transportation to and from the airport

You can take the Houston Metro Rail & Bus system to both Hobby Airport ($1.25 one-way, travel time of 60 – 80 minutes depending on transfer) and Bush Intercontinental ($16.25 one-way, travel time of 45 – 60 minutes depending on transfer). Directions will be available upon request or can be found online here.

You may wish to rent a car, as there is no direct access by public transport to the conference location. For non-public transportation (hired vehicles or personal vehicles), allow up to 1.5 hours driving time to Bush and 45 minutes to Hobby during rush hour. During off-peak times, it is 30 minutes to Bush and 15 to Hobby.
